The Fletcher Police Department is always looking to hire the finest law enforcement professionals.  Whether you are just beginning your career in law enforcement, or you are looking to find new things with a different department, the Fletcher Police Department may be the place for you!

The Town of Fletcher is located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina.  It sits between two of the largest cities in the western part of the state, Hendersonville and Asheville.  The Town of Fletcher was incorporated in June of 1989 and as of September 2020 it currently has a population of 8,491 and encompasses five square miles in the northern portion of Henderson County.

The Fletcher Police Department is made up of 20 sworn men and women and one civilian administrative assistant.  The Officers of the Fletcher Police Department are encouraged to engage with the community, being flexible and using their self-initiative in response to the unique needs of the Fletcher community. They are responsible for the enforcement of traffic laws and conduct traffic and criminal investigations. The Department is committed to training so officers are best prepared to serve the citizens of Fletcher. We also have other specialties that Officers can join, such as a motor unit and Honor Guard detail. As the Town of Fletcher continues to grow, so does the police department.
