Full-Time:

Recreation Program Supervisor

Status: Applications are being accepted.

Plans, coordinates, and supervises a variety of recreational and leisure time activities for the citizens of the community including day camps, special events, and festivals.  Work involves considerable planning and scheduling of activities and contact with participants and temporary staff.  The employee modifies existing recreational programs in concert with the requested needs of the community; recruits part‑time and volunteer staff as well as participants; publicizes program activities; coordinates the department’s social media and marketing; coordinates activities with staff; and supervises the successful implementation of such programs.

Recreation Program Supervisor Position Additional Information.

Starting hourly hiring rate: $26.31-$28.31 per hour. Hiring salary will be determined based on qualifications and internal equity.

Police Officer

Status: Applications are being accepted.

The Town of Fletcher Police Department seeks a police officer candidate who is a leader with high ethical standards and unquestionable integrity. Work includes patrolling the Town during an assigned shift in a police car, bicycle, or on foot; preventing, detecting and investigating disturbances and crime; performing traffic control work; apprehending suspects; and executing related assignments.  Employees must exercise judgment, initiative and calm control when performing duties. Work involves frequent public contact which requires tact, firmness and decisiveness.

BLET certification through North Carolina Criminal Justice Training & Standards is required with application.

Starting hourly hiring rate: $22.23
