Fall Litter Sweep

The 2024 Fall Litter Sweep is just around the corner! Join us September 14–28 as we get outside and help keep our state clean! We can’t do this without you. #LitterSweepNC #TakeonTrashNC

If you are interested in organizing a group from your neighborhood, civic organization, church, etc. to help beautify Fletcher during the NC DOT Fall Litter Sweep campaign, the Town of Fletcher will provide trash bags, safety vests, plastic gloves, and trash “pick up sticks” to help your cleanup effort. We will also pick up the full bags once you have finished. If you are uncertain where to focus your efforts, we can also suggest which streets could use a clean-up.
If you are willing to volunteer during this effort and need some “gear”, please contact the Town Hall at 828-687-3985 or send an email to info@fletchernc.org before September 14th so we can have appropriate supplies on hand. Thank you for your interest.
