Tree Lighting and Visits with Santa

On Thursday, December 1st the town of Fletcher will kick off the holiday season with its Annual Tree Lighting at Fletcher Community Park. This event will include the lighting of the Town Christmas Tree by Mayor Bill Moore, visits with Santa and plenty of delicious hot chocolate and cookies to help keep warm. This is a perfect opportunity for children to give Santa their Christmas letters and to get a photo with the jolly old elf.
Performances
Join us for local groups performing some of there favorite holiday tunes. Performing groups include, Veritas Christian Academy, Southside Dance Studio and Fletcher Elementary School Chorus.
Visits with Santa
This is a great opportunity to get a picture with the jolly old elf and for the little ones to give Santa their Christmas list.
Crafts
Stop by the craft table and make a holiday picture frame perfect for your photo with Santa Claus.
Refreshments
There will be plenty of delicious hot chocolate and cookies to help keep warm. These complimentary refreshments are provided by Dickey’s Barbecue Pit of Fletcher.
Food Donations
This event is free and open to the public but we encourage attendants to bring canned goods for a local food pantry. Please bring a can or two for a good cause!
