The Town of Fletcher will be hosting its 3rd Annual Fletcher Family Festival on Saturday, September 24! This event will include children’s games and inflatables, touch a truck, a musical performance by Caribbean Cowboys!  To cap off the evening we will be shooting off a spectacular fireworks show! Activities will begin at 5:30 p.m. and fireworks will be launched at 8 p.m.

Music  – 5:45 p.m. – 7:45 p.m.

Steve Weams and The Caribbean Cowboys Band provide a wide variety of music from Jimmy Buffett to other troubadours such as Peter Mayer, Scott Kirby, Jesse Winchester, Fingers Taylor, and the best of Classic, Southern & Trop Rock, Rhythm & Blues, Bluegrass, Beach Tunes, and last but not least…a few classics such as Frank Sinatra and an awesome “Elvis” tribute along with the Caribbean Cowboys originals! Their original tunes bring you an island-sound consisting of reggae, calypso, and good old rock ‘n roll.

Kidz Zone – 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.

The Kidz Zone will feature inflatables, including a 22 ft slide, inflatable obstacle course, moon bounce and an inflatable farm for designed for attendees under 5 years old.

This year’s event will also feature field games, including tug o’ war, freeze dance contests, egg and spoon races and so much more!

7:10 p.m. – Potato Sack Race

Fern Leaf School will also be providing a craft activity! Other activities include face paint, balloon twisting (provided by Fletcher United Methodist Church) and FREE snow cones (provided by United Federal Credit Union)

Touch-A-Truck – 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.

Kids love trucks!  Cement Truck, police car, tractor, and even a mobile vet office will be on hand for the kids to climb on and explore.

BINGO Tent – 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.

Head to the BINGO tent for FREE fun for all ages! There is no cost to play and prizes will include gift cards and other fun prizes for both kids and adults!

Food Vendors – 5:30 – 8:00 p.m.

 Acropolis Pizza

Acropolis Pizza’s Mobile Pizza kitchen specializes in straight from the oven Pizzas, sandwiches, wraps and salads.

Concession Stand

The parks and recreation concession stand will be open selling concession stand favorites, including hot dogs, nachos, snow cones, popcorn and more!

 Dickey’s Barbecue Pit 

Dickey’s Barbecue Pit will be on site selling the famous barbecue plates, delicious sides and of course sweet tea!

 Vendors Village – 5:30 – 7:45 p.m.

Fireworks! – 8:00 p.m.

Join us at 8 p.m. for a spectacular fireworks show! Park gates will close at 7:45 p.m. so arrive early to be sure you can get a parking space before the fireworks start!
